1982 Vintage Bas-Armagnac

Cloud & Clet Bas-Armagnac 1982 comes from the 1982 harvest alone. Distilled from 100% Baco, the signature grape of Bas-Armagnac, it is never blended with another vintage: it carries the character of a single year, shaped by the weather, the harvest and its ageing in oak casks in our cellars at Mauléon-d’Armagnac. Harvested more than 40 years ago, it has had time to build its depth.

It sits between the lively fruit of the recent vintages (apricot, spice, fresh fruit) and the depth of the oldest ones, where rancio, prune and cocoa emerge.

Every bottle is bottled to order to preserve the integrity of the spirit. Like all Armagnac, it no longer changes once in the bottle: what you receive is the 1982 eau-de-vie exactly as it is today in our cellars.
